SUNSHINE & COLOUR WREATH

If we told you we were putting sunflower yellow, cerise pink, orange, natural blue and lime green together in one funeral wreath, you might wonder how on earth that was going to work. But it does — and that unexpected mix of colour is exactly what makes Sunshine & Colour so special.

Big, bold sunflowers are the obvious starting point, but they aren’t allowed to take over. Roses and spray roses bring more colour and flower value, while natural blue delphinium, lisianthus, santini and smaller florist-choice flowers are worked through the wreath to connect everything together.

There’s a lot going on, but every colour has its place. The brighter flowers give us the impact, the smaller flowers soften the spaces between them, and the fresh greens stop the whole thing becoming too heavy. That balance is what turns what could easily be a chaotic mixture of colour into a wreath that feels bright, confident and beautifully put together.

The colour palette is part of the design, so we don’t offer Sunshine & Colour in alternative combinations. Some of the smaller flowers may change with seasonal availability, but the yellow, cerise, orange, natural blue, lime and fresh green character will always remain.

It’s an obvious choice for someone who loved sunflowers, but just as much for somebody who loved strong colour, bright flowers and something that didn’t feel too traditional.

Every Sunshine & Colour Wreath is individually handmade by the florists at Townend Florist in Sheffield.

Available in 12", 14", 16" and 18". As the wreath increases in size, we use more sunflowers, roses and premium flowers throughout to keep the same fullness, colour and balance.

The 16" and 18" sizes can also be used on the coffin if you’d prefer a colourful wreath as the main funeral flowers.
