Red White and Blue Coffin Top

Red, white and blue is a colour combination that can hold a very personal meaning.

Sometimes it's chosen to remember someone who served in the Armed Forces. For others, they're simply three colours their loved one adored, or perhaps a reminder of a special occasion or a wedding many years ago.

Whatever the reason, we bring the three colours together to create a traditional coffin top that's full of colour without losing its balance.

Blue flowers are particularly important in this design. We use natural blue delphiniums for their height and beautiful colour, alongside blue eryngium, which brings a deeper shade of blue and a completely different texture.

Red roses add richness and warmth, while carefully chosen white flowers, usually lisianthus and spray roses, provide contrast and allow each colour to stand out. We may also include red hypericum and other suitable seasonal flowers to bring the arrangement together.

The result is a colourful, substantial coffin top, individually arranged by our florists here at Townend Florist in Sheffield.

Available from 3ft to 6ft, with larger sizes containing more flowers to create a fuller arrangement and greater coverage across the coffin.

If these colours have a particular meaning for you, or you'd like us to consider specific flowers, please contact us. We're always happy to discuss how we can make your arrangement more personal.
