ROSE & BLOOM

Rose & Bloom is all about the flowers. You can tell straight away there’s more going on in this heart — more roses, more premium stems, more colour and more detail — but everything has been carefully balanced so it still looks beautiful rather than overcrowded.

Roses are the backbone of this design. Large roses give us those strong focal flowers, while spray roses run throughout the heart and connect everything together. Lisianthus, hypericum, delphinium, santini and fresh foliage then add the smaller differences in shape, texture and colour that make the whole design interesting.

The colour combination is a huge part of what makes Rose & Bloom work. The reds, burgundies, blues and purples shown here are all strong colours, but put together in the right places they give the heart real depth. One colour makes another stand out, and that careful balance is what gives the finished piece its rich look.

This isn’t a design where we simply swap flowers in and out depending on what happens to be available. The combination of roses and premium flowers is important to the finished look. We may occasionally make a seasonal change where necessary, but we’ll always keep the same flower value, depth and rose-led character of Rose & Bloom.

Every heart is individually handmade by the florists at Townend Florist in Sheffield.

Available in 15", 18", 21" and 23". The larger the heart, the more roses and premium flowers we use, giving the design greater fullness and impact while keeping the same balance throughout.

The 21" and 23" sizes can also be used as the main flowers on the coffin if you’d prefer a heart-shaped design rather than a traditional coffin arrangement.
