GRANDAD FUNERAL FLOWER LETTERS

Our GRANDAD Funeral Flower Letters are created using seven individual 12" letters, based in fresh white chrysanthemums and finished with ribbon edging and flower clusters in the colours you choose.

There's a reason we make GRANDAD a little differently at Townend Florist.

Through years of working closely with funeral directors, we've learned that longer arrangements need a little extra thought, particularly when it comes to how they're handled on the day of the funeral.

Rather than fixing all seven letters together on one long frame, we create GRANDAD in two separate sections, GRAN and DAD. They sit beautifully together as one complete arrangement but can be moved individually when needed.

Why does that matter?

Because when family and friends are waiting to follow their loved one into the funeral service, the last thing we want is unnecessary fuss or awkward handling of the flowers around the coffin.

Making GRANDAD this way allows the flowers to be moved carefully and discreetly, helping those important moments remain calm and dignified.

It's something most people wouldn't even think to ask about when choosing funeral flowers. And they shouldn't have to. It's our job to think about those details, because showing dignity and respect for someone's loved one matters just as much as creating beautiful flowers.

The first and last letters have fuller floral clusters, while the remaining letters also receive their own floral detail so the complete arrangement looks beautiful from beginning to end.

We usually use roses as the main flower in the clusters, with smaller seasonal flowers chosen by our florists to complement your selected colours.

You can choose your flower cluster colours and ribbon edging when ordering. We have far more shades available than we can show online, so if there's a particular colour you're looking for, please contact us and we'll happily talk through the options.
