GRANDAD FUNERAL FLOWER LETTERS

GRANDAD is created using seven individual 12" letters based in fresh white chrysanthemums, finished with ribbon edging and flower clusters in the colours you choose.

Because GRANDAD is a longer letter tribute, we prepare it slightly differently at Townend Florist. We work closely with funeral directors, so we understand not just how funeral flowers are made, but how they are transported, handled and positioned throughout the day.

Rather than fixing all seven letters to one long frame, we create GRAN on a four-letter frame and DAD on a three-letter frame. The two sections sit neatly together to form the complete GRANDAD tribute.

It is a small detail, but an important one. It makes a longer tribute easier to transport securely, easier for the funeral director to position with care and avoids unnecessary awkward handling around the coffin.

For us, making funeral flowers properly does not stop when they leave the shop. We think about the whole journey they have to make, and how they will be handled at every stage.

The first and last letters are finished with fuller floral clusters, while the remaining letters also receive floral detail so the tribute feels properly finished from beginning to end.

Roses are our usual focal flower, with smaller seasonal flowers chosen by our florists to complement your selected colour and keep the finished design balanced.

You can choose your own flower cluster colour and ribbon edge colour when ordering. We carry far more shades than we can realistically show online, so if you have something particular in mind, please contact us and we’ll happily talk through the options.

Each letter is approximately 12" high.
