Autumn has arrived, and with it comes a whole new season of flowers and designs at Townend Florist. This time of year is one of our favourites — rich colours, textures that feel warm and cosy, and the chance to create bouquets that you simply won’t find anywhere else.

Our bouquets are born from our own ideas, fresh each day, and designed to be as individual as the people receiving them. One of our favourite designs this season is the Hocus Pocus bouquet. It’s playful, rich in colour, and packed with character — the sort of bouquet that makes you stop and look twice. No two are ever exactly the same, because every one is made here in the shop with the freshest flowers delivered that very morning.

Funeral Flowers, Made Personal 🌸

Another part of our work that means so much to us is creating funeral flowers. We know every tribute should reflect the life and personality of your loved one, which is why our designs are adaptable. You can take inspiration from any of our arrangements, merge two styles together, or work with us to create something truly original.

A recent example is a garden-style coffin top arrangement we made for a gentleman who loved gardening and dahlias. His wife came to us with the idea of bringing his passion into the design. We combined our wild, vivid coffin style with her wish for home-grown touches, including dahlias she brought in herself. The result was something deeply personal, a reflection of his life and his garden.

This tribute was delivered to Barry Pritchard Funeral Services in Swallownest, Sheffield. It’s a local funeral director we’re proud to work with, and we want families to know we can deliver directly to them too.
