RED ROSES FOR VALENTINES16 January 2024Valentine's Day ( Wednesday 14th of February) is on its way. There's only one way to to celebrate Valentine's Day and that's with flowers. It doesn't always have to be red roses but they are the classical symbol of love and romance. So why choose a florist? Why not just pop to a supermarket? Because we care, we only use roses that are fit for prupose and that are graded as A1. Which means it is the best quality grown which in turn means that your bouquet will bloom for the longest period of time. Our roses come delivered directly to us from the grower and when they arrive they are tight buds measuring only 5cm wide. You'll see from the picture on the right that the rose is actually 12cm. This rose is one week old and still hasn't fully bloomed. In fact it has still got another seven days at least before we consider it fully bloomed. And that is why we ask you you to choose Townend Florist, a florist that cares about customers, the flowers we use and that beautiful bouquets we make.
